About the Summer Reading Program

Parents and educators know that summer reading and engaging in reading-related activities advances students' literacy skills, improving their retention during the summer months, and leading to increased academic performance when school resumes.

Reading Logs

Point Pleasant Borough Schools' Summer Reading Program encourages students' development of positive reading habits by recognizing and rewarding reading during the summer months. In order to accurately recognize students' reading, Summer Reading Program participants must log their reading online.
